Pre-nups drawn up for gadget lovers

Pixmania.com has come up with an idea to solve the problem of who gets the household gadgets when a couple splits up.

The website has created the world's first downloadable gadget pre-nuptial agreement (PDF document) known as the 'E-Nup'.

Divorce lawyer Vanessa Lloyd Platt who drew up the E-Nup said it made sense for couples to protect their belongings to save hassle in the long run. "Together with the house and car, gadgets are the new battleground," she said.

Pixmania said although pre-nuptial contracts were not legally binding in the UK, the E-Nup could be presented as evidence in court in the event of a break-up.
