Workers find cross inside Christmas tree

Maybe people go looking for miracles this time of year, but even if you aren't looking for one sometimes they find you.

Workers were just cutting down Christmas trees at Lucky Plants in Burbank, something they do a lot of this time of year. But unlike every other year, they made what some say is a divine discovery. While cutting down one 6-foot Noble fir, the store employees and owners got the surprise of their lives.

There, inside the trunk of the Oregon-born and raised tree was a perfectly-formed cross. It looks almost painted on but it is ingrained in the wood.

The tree had been on sale for $59.99 but the owners have decided to keep the tree around as something of a tourist attraction.
