An Australian man photographed on a Melbourne freeway carrying a barbeque on his motorcycle says it was an experience' - but one he won't be repeating.
The man spotted the discarded barbeque on the side of the road.
He then loaded up, travelled at 60 kilometres an hour on the Eastern Freeway, and took 80 minutes to get the barbeque back to his home in Sydenham.
'There were some tricky parts,' he confessed. 'I got a very bad neck from it, but it was an experience'.
The man says he got his inspiration from visits to south-east Asia 'I saw people carrying large 'chicken farms' on the back of scooters, and I thought, how can I do that? he said.
By lying the three-burner on its side and sitting in between the grill and base, he was able to balance and steer his motorbike home.
