New ad campaign tells Britons to 'screw' UK and come to Adelaide

Adelaide has launched a campaign to lure British workers with ads headed "Screw Working in Staines" and "Bugger it, I'm off to Adelaide".

The marketing campaign, which also includes ads headed "Sod London House Prices" and "Stuff London Traffic" compares British and Australian lifestyles.

They offer "fine weather, fine wine, fine houses, fine jobs, fine beaches and fine universities" to the students and skilled workers they hope to attract. The campaign claims Adelaide is one of the world's least expensive cities, has the lowest rents, average summer temperatures of 28c and winter temperatures of 16c.
