Man's wild bargain buy proves a tall order

His home has turned into a jungle – leaving Joe Osbourne with a headache.

From a giraffe in the bathroom, to tigers in the living room and zebras in the kitchen, Joe’s home is now a safari experience.



When the entrepreneur bought a herd of model animals online, he had high hopes they’d be a great investment.

But when they arrived from India, storing them suddenly seemed a very tall order. That’s because the model animals Joe was expecting turned out to be almost life-sized.



The 54-year-old, who paid £900 for models and a further £900 to have them delivered from India, said: “I never thought they would be this big. When I looked at the 2D pictures on the internet they looked so much smaller. I didn’t really think it through.”

He now shares his home with 25 animals – including 8ft giraffes, 5ft zebras, 4ft tigers, panthers and lions and 3ft horses.
