Kim Walker, 37, went into severe anaphylactic shock after squeezing into a pair of Meryl Skinlife body control pants bought from a Primark shop in Greenock, Renfrewshire.
She had to be injected with life-saving adrenalin as her throat closed and she gasped for breath.

Kim, who fell ill while tending a casualty ward patient, may not recover fully for six weeks.
She claimed a fibre used to absorb moisture in her £4 control pants could have sparked the dangerous reaction, most commonly linked to peanut allergies.
Kim said: “Anaphylactic shock is life-threatening. Luckily, I was in A&E and got adrenalin. It will be quite a tale to tell my two-year-old daughter when she’s older – mummy’s mad pants episode.”
