Woman dialed 999 to get out of her pants

A British woman who couldn’t get her trousers off to go to the lavatory dialled 999 and claimed to be locked in a chastity belt.

Desperate Robeena Cheema’s real belt buckle had jammed but she didn’t think rescuers would treat it as an emergency.

Twelve firefighters went to help after her call — prising open the buckle despite the fib.

Robeena, 44, of Chiswick, West London, said: “The belt had been stuck for two hours and I just had to go.”

A fire service insider branded Robeena “irresponsible” for wasting time and claimed she could have cut the belt off.
