'Spoon boy' breaks world record by balancing 16 spoons on his face

A British schoolboy has scooped a top drawer world record by balancing 16 spoons - on his face.

Nine-year-old Joe Allison beat the previous world record of 15 spoons when he hung the silverware from his forehead, nose, cheeks, chin and ears.



But Joe admits he doesn't know what's behind his amazing talent. He said: "There isn't really a secret to it, the spoons just stick on and I don't really know how.

"It's something I can do easily and I know I'll make 17 one day but I'll probably have to wait until I grow a bit so there's some more space on my forehead."
