Website sells unwanted gifts from ex-lovers

A website has been set up which allows ex-girlfriends and wives to sell on unwanted gifts from former lovers.

Ex-BoyfriendJewelry.com allows women to trade rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings and watches and commiserate over lost loves in the process.

There is also a section on the website entitled Gifts That Should Have Been Jewelry, where disappointed recipients can trade unwanted presents such as skimpy underwear, vacuum cleaners, crockery and even Crimean cavalry swords.
The website's founder is Megahn Perry, 30, a Los Angeles-based actress and writer who was inspired by talking to her mother-in-law about her former husband. She describes it as "a site where you can buy/sell/trade and blog about all of those little reminders in your jewellery box that make you wonder 'What did I ever see in him?', or 'Where have all the cowboys gone?'"
