A beloved teddy bear has been reunited with his seven-year-old owner after a 3,600km (2,250-mile) journey.
Orange Ted became the subject of Operation Bear Necessity after Jaimee Armstrong left him at Girona airport in Spain after a family holiday.
But he was not allowed to be posted back to Britain, officials told parents Dan and Deb Armstrong, and had to be collected in person.
So there he stayed, until a tourist drove him to Barcelona, Seville and Toulouse, before he was flown back to Britain and posted home – 44 days later.
A travel agent had picked up Orange Ted and taken him on a driving holiday, before handing him to another rep in Toulouse, whose parents were visiting from Britain. They flew home with it to Yorkshire, where Orange Ted was posted to Jaimee at home in Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset.
'One thing is absolutely certain – he is never leaving the country again,' said Mrs Armstrong.
