Bob Geldof makes Peace offering

Bob Geldof, the founder and non–executive director of UK factual media company Ten Alps, yesterday launched The Peace Channel (www.peacechannel.tv), an online portal devoted to peace and global conflict resolution.



The channel, set up by The Peace Channel Foundation and Ten Alps, will use online video and user–generated content to cover the world's wars and potential flashpoints. It features videos about specific flashpoints, a picture gallery and debate forums.
