Armed burglars demand man's egg beater

Two men are facing armed burglary charges after the entered a home in Plant City and demanded the victim turn over his metal egg beater, according to their arrest reports.

According to the Hillsborough Sheriff's Office, Robert Thompson and Taurus Morris barged into the victim's home on State Road 60 around 3:30 on Sunday morning.



Thompson armed himself with a folding knife, Morris had a chrome pistol, according to the reports.

Investigators say Thompson held the knife against the victim's neck and demanded the egg beater. It was found in Thompson's back left pocket when the men were arrested outside the home.
