Cross dressing dad accused of reading porn in park with toddler in tow

Police arrested 43-year-old William Kaluf on Saturday afternoon after someone complained to police a man was dressed in "provocative women's clothing" and reading porn in the park. The man told police what worried him, a toddler was with him.

Police say Kaluf had his 23 month old son with him at Wilderness Park, Lincoln, Nebraska.

Police say Kaluf was in the park at 1:15 p.m. "wearing pink fishnet women's stockings, no shoes and a bra with a revealing woman's top." Kaluf had an outstanding warrant for driving under suspension. Officers say when they tried to arrest him, he started his car and drove away to his nearby home.

Officers pursued him -lights flashing and sirens blaring. They arrested him at his home for child neglect, driving under suspension, fleeing to avoid arrest, no proof of insurance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Lincoln Police Officer, Katie Flood says, "It isn't a crime to be dressed that way. We can't issue a ticket for a bad fashion decision but the crime is what was he doing with a small child? At that age, they're very impressionable and don't need to be exposed to porn, nor get into pursuit with officers with the child in the car."

Police say Kaluf had "a large amount of both written and video pornography in his vehicle in plain view." The boy was returned to his mother.
