Missing seven-year-old boy found hiding in tree after major search

A seven-year-old boy who was reported missing while out playing with friends has been found.

Shamus McGill had last been seen at about 1700 BST in Brewery Park, off Lower Ellacombe Church Road, in Torquay, on Friday.



He was later found in a tree in a nearby park just before 2300 BST by members of the Dartmoor Rescue Team.

Shamus was unhurt. All police units in the Torbay area had taken part in the search for him.
