Florida firefighters saved the life of "Bootsie" the cat on Monday by using a special pet-sized oxygen mask after she was rescued from a house fire.
The homeowner and her granddaughter had already been taken to safety when firefighters discovered the cat under some furniture, with burned ears and covered in soot.
After receiving treatment, she opened her eyes and was able to move around.
Her owners planned to take her to an emergency vet for a check-up.
