A 41-year-old American man has been charged after he turned up naked to a dental appointment. Police said Christopher Hoff was five days late for the appointment when he went into Optimus Dental's surgery in Stratford, Connecticut, on Monday with nothing on.
A horrified female receptionist screamed at the sight of him and he ran away, according to prosecutors.
When police arrived, several people pointed them in the direction in which the "naked guy" had run.
Officers found Mr Hoff at home where he told them he had been asleep all day. However, when he was taken to the dentist's, the receptionist identified him.
"She recognised him immediately - his eyes are very blue and he has a good tan," the woman told officers, according to the police report.
He has yet to plead on charges of disorderly conduct, public indecency and failure to comply with fingerprinting.
