It certainly was, after the highlights show was inexplicably interrupted by a glamorous woman going to the toilet and making a mobile phone call behind the cubicle door.
Thirty-five seconds later, and BBC1 viewers were watching the football once again. The woman was Kate Bosworth and the film was Blue Crush, showing on ITV1 at the same time in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The BBC blamed a "technical hitch".
