Bank customer tackles bank robber in sneak attack

A surveillance camera at a bank in Wisconsin captured a customer taking down a robbery suspect.

The man was at a snack machine while his wife was doing bank business with a teller. He noticed a man with a hood walk into the bank and got a feeling he needed to act.

The robber told bank employees he had a gone and handed them a note demanding money in the bag. As employees filled up the bag the customer went into action with a sneak attack. The customer leaped over the closed-off customer lines and hit the robber from behind bringing him to the ground.

The customer's wife got in on the action and went over and kicked the robber. They held the robber down until police arrived on scene. The robber had $8,000 in the bag.
