Teenager cries blood from his eyes

A Tennessee boy has reported bleeding from his eyes several times a day and the condition has baffled his doctors. Calvino Inman, 15, says the bleeding happens at least three times a day and can last anywhere from a few minutes up to an hour.

"Sometimes, I can feel it coming up, like a tear. I feel my eyes watering, Sometimes, it will burn as it comes out," Inman said. "I've been called possessed by almost all of my friends. I guess I'm used to it now. At first, it kind of hurt my feelings."

Tammy Mynatt, the boy's mother, says she called paramedics the first time she saw blood running from her son's eyes. "The scariest thing in my life is when he looked at me and said 'Mom, am I going to die?' That right there broke my heart," Mynatt said.

"They done an MRI, they done a CAT scan, they done it with and without an IV, they've done ultra sounds."

She has taken her son to see numerous specialists, but still has no diagnosis or treatment.

"Every doctor tells us they've never seen anything like this before in all their many years of being a doctor." Mynatt says she's desperate to find treatment for her son.
