Woman strips to avoid arrest over stolen beef jerky

A dramatic incident occurred in Sheboygan as a woman stripped before the police to avoid arrest. The name of the woman that adapted a strange way to avoid arrest is Julia E. Laack. The incident took place when police tried to arrest her. According to a criminal complaint, Julia E Laack was stealing a lighter and beef jerky from a Sheboygan gas station. 36-year-old Laack is a resident of Sheboygan.



When police tried to take the drunken woman into custody, Laack stripped in front of police and her children. She attempted to avoid arrest by stripping and even kicked a police officer in his groin later on. According to police, when they tried to arrest her, she said:“You can’t arrest me as I am going to be naked now.”



Later on, police somehow controlled her. Laack, of 1603 S. 13th St., has no previous criminal record according to online court records. Julia E Laack is charged with misdemeanor retail theft, felony battery of a peace officer, two counts of disorderly conduct and resisting an officer. According to sources, if she is convicted on all counts, she may face a sentence of up to five-years in jail.
