Gah, my computer has just died

I've been 'nursing' it for many months now, in the hope of being able to afford a new one sometime in the new year.

Anyway, it just died with a bang and a few spitting noises.

This is brought to you from my equally broken laptop, with which I'll persevere.

Unfortunately the stories I had bookmarked to post today are on my old PC and I don't have the time, nor indeed the will at the moment, to search them out again.

Hopefully things here will return to normal tomorrow.
