Man arrested for paying teenagers to spit in his face

Police arrested a 39-year-old man after he allegedly paid teens to spit on him.

Charles Hersel, a Thousand Oaks man was arrested and charged for misdemeanor child annoyance. That's after police say he paid a Westlake High School student $31 to curse at him, slap him and spit in his face.

Authorities say Hersel may have paid other teens to do the same and even urinate and defecate on him.

Hersel allegedly hooked up with the teens through the social networking site, MySpace.

Dear Site,
this is CHARLES HERSEL. I won this case and was acquitted on February 7, 2012 at Ventura Superior Court by unanimous jury verdict in less than an hour. The parents of CONNOR GANTT, KEATS STANLEY, AUSTIN PERRY, CHRIS ANDERSON AND JOSEPH MATHEWS (JP MATHEWS) all pressed charges against me. CONNOR GANTT, KEATS STANLEY, AUSTIN PERRY AND JOSEPH MATHEWS (JP MATHEWS) all spat on me and yelled profanities at me. All of them brought their friends to mistreat me and enjoyed it and laughed about it and thought it was great to mistreat and abuse me, another person. JOSEPH MATHEWS also smacked me hard and put his shoe in my mouth. I asked for the abuse as I was a survivor of child abuse. Again, I was acquitted of these child annoyance allegations by a unanimous jury verdict.
Sincerely,
CHARLES HERSEL
