An intruder threatened a disabled woman with a knife in her Nottinghamshire home before stealing her car and two wheelchairs.
Police said the 40-year-old victim was confronted by a man in a balaclava in her bedroom in Arundale, Mansfield Woodhouse, at 0425 GMT on Saturday.
The intruder punched her in the face before escaping in the Vauxhall Astra, which contained both her wheelchairs.
A police spokesman said: "She was woken in her home by her dog barking, and was confronted by a man. The man demanded her car keys and when she refused he punched her in the face, before producing a knife and threatening her.
"She gave him the keys and he left, stealing her car and wheelchairs." Police have arrested three people, aged 17, 18 and 19 over the incident.
The car has been found but the wheelchairs are still missing. The wheelchairs are described as one general use chair and one blue Zephyr sport chair. Police said the woman has been left without a chair and is unable to get around.
