Margaret Wiseman was heading to her daughter's house during Friday night's snowstorm when she accidentally drove off a road and into the pond near Barnesville.
The front of her car was submerged with water leaking in, so she climbed into the back seat to stay dry.
She was rescued on Saturday afternoon after spending 16 terrifying hours trapped in the pond.
"The first thing I said this morning was 'Dear God, don't let me die here'," she said from her hospital bed.
She's now being treated for hypothermia, but is expected to make a full recovery.
