Customs dog attacks 4-year-old girl

The US Customs and Border Patrol says one of its dogs bit a 4-year-old girl during a training exercise at Dulles International Airport.

On Thursday, the airport's Customs and Border Protection authorities say a 4-year-old girl had to be rushed to the hospital after a Belgian Malinois bit her in the abdomen.

Customs and Border Protection says the dog was in the middle of a training exercise and its unclear what triggered the attack.

The four-year-old girl was taken to the hospital and her injuries are not life-threatening.
