A Kent smoker who died from the lung disease emphysema will be using his funeral to tell others 'Smoking killed me - please give up!' .
Before dying earlier this month Albert 'Dick' Whittamore, 85, said he wanted signs on his hearse to encourage people to give up smoking. The signs will be displayed on the hearse and on his grave.
Mr Whittamore, who ran a print shop in Dover for 50 years, will be buried on Tuesday at St Mary's Cemetery.
Paul Sullivan from Sullivan and Sons Funeral Directors said: "It's the first time I've been requested to make signs for a hearse, but obviously that was one of his dying wishes in his will and we will honour that."
