Rugby team chooses pink floral kit

An amateur rugby league team in West Yorkshire have got in touch with their feminine side with a new floral kit.

The players in the Slaithwaite Saracens decided they wanted "something a bit funky" to set them apart from other teams on the rugby field.



The team went for a dark blue background with pink flowers, teamed with pink and blue striped socks.

The team's coach, Richie Hawkyard, said: "A few weren't happy like, but a couple of them are really keen on it."
