Fire crews had to rescue two-year-old Daniel Craggs when he tried to use his potty as a substitute for Fireman Sam’s helmet.
Daniel, a huge fan of the kids’ TV favourite, was pleased to see Sam’s “friends” in blue turn up to his Garston home to help him escape.

The toddler had been playing in front of the TV around noon, using the potty as a helmet before mum Sarah Potter, 34, heard him say: “Potty stuck.”
“My mum phoned the fire service. I nearly had a heart attack when four firemen turned up in all their gear.”
Brave Daniel stayed calm as the firemen cut through the plastic with a pair of snippers.
