Exploding cement mixer destroys cars in Poland

Furious motorists are trying to unravel an insurance mix-up after their cars were devastated by an exploding cement mixer.

One woman was seriously injured and dozens of cars were written off when the mixer blew up showering the street with tonnes of quick drying concrete near a building site in Warsaw, Poland.

"When I saw what had happened I couldn't believe my eyes," said car owner Stanislaw Podgorski, 39. "My car is completely ruined."

"It's a complete mess. The builders aren't insured for this sort of accident and my car insurance doesn't cover it. In the meantime my car has a concrete shell and I'd need a drill to get in it."
