Man goes from pig farmer to Boy George look-a-like

A former pig farmer turned Boy George look-a-like has created a booming business for himself.

Father-of-two Matt Endersby, who uses the stage name Bye George, started performing as the Culture Club star after being spotted by an agent at a friend's costume party.

Nine months later he earns between £150 to £300 for a performance of crowd pleasers such as Karma Chameleon, compared to the £2.50-an-hour he earned working in the fields.

The 42-year-old from Sittingbourne said: "I have been really shocked by just how well things have been going. Lots of people have been stopping me in the streets and asked if I am the real Boy George.

"I have put henna tattoos on my hands and have patterns on the side of my head, so I guess I look more like him than ever before.

"I'm trying to represent his cleaner side and steer away from his previous troubles. Everyone has done things in their life that they shouldn't. I have been taking singing lessons and voice coaching and I see this going from strength to strength in the future."
