Seahorse gives birth

The male seahorse has a pouch on its stomach in which to carry babies — as many as 2,000 at a time. A pregnancy lasts from 10 to 25 days, depending on the species.

just wondering, if the male seahorse impregnants and get pregnant, what does the female seahorse do?

jonfen: provides the egg cell for him to impregnate & gestate (essentially, the female "impregnates" the male).

Haha... love that imagery. And based on my "research" (i.e. Wikipedia, Google, and YouTube), you're not far off. Basically, she plops some eggs into pouch on his body, then he fertilizes them. So, yeah, pretty much what you said :D
