Thumb that fell from the sky belongs to missing kebab shop worker

The thumb of a man who was kidnapped outside his home was discovered in a car park after it fell mysteriously from the sky. Tests found the digit belongs to Mahmood Ahmad, who was snatched from Watford on March 7.

A security guard who discovered it initially thought it was a chicken drumstick and kicked it around in boredom, before noticing the nail and realising what it was.

Video footage of the site shows it falling from the sky. It is believed it was dropped by a bird.

The 41-year-old father-of-two was last seen by colleagues driving his black Citroen C2 away from the kebab shop where he worked in Aldgate, East London. Police have charged three men with kidnap.

Many thanks Paul!
