New feet pledged for mutilated dog

A Spanish association of metal companies has volunteered to manufacture prosthetic paws for a mutilated dog found in the Serbian capital of Belgrade.

The group called AIMME, or Metal-Processing Technology Institute based outside Valencia, Spain, made the offer to provide free custom paws for the dog veterinarians named Mila, or "Darling."

The young mixed-breed female was found on Wednesday in a suburb under a car by passers-by with all four paws cut off. The unidentified people rushed the dog to a private veterinarian, who said it was dehydrated and the stumps were infected.

Veterinarian Miomir Randjelovic said the amputations were precise and surgical, and likely couldn't have been done by just one person. Based on the state of infection, the abuse happened several days ago, he said.

Where do these sick people's mind dwell? In Hell!! To do this to an animal. I read where they think they got the suspects, I hope so. And these creatures  are not Homo Sapiens a name for them has not been created yet, but they dwell in Hell To Fathom  sick twisted minds? But I'm wrong they are not Homo Sapiens.

It doesn't matter how much you wish to think otherwise, they are indeed human. Very much so in fact, since this kind of sadism and cruelty is quite distinctly a human trait. Sure, there are animals that could be said to torture other animals, but in those instances it is not likely the torturer is able to understand that its victim is suffering. It is the combination of our animal side, our lusts and instincts, and our grossly oversized brains that makes us such a species of assholes. None of us is immune, none of us is totally incapable of horrible acts. Unfortunately.

Here's to hoping our grossly oversized brains overcome and that these people are catched and sentenced appropriately. Poor doggy.

What a beautiful dog; it's heartbreaking that someone did this to her. I wish the vets good success with the prosthetics; I'd love to see an update video in a few months with Mila taking her first steps on them...

Also: Insolitus, you are right. Unfortunately.
