Sick Australian rapper becomes global hit

An Australian man, quarantined in his hospital room for months, has found new life on the internet as a rapper.

Christiaan Van Vuuren, of Sydney, contracted a rare case of multiple drug-resistant tuberculosis while on vacation in Argentina. As a result, he has been isolated in a hospital room since Jan. 18.

Bored and trying to "kill time" Van Vuuren made some tongue-in-cheek videos in hospital, as Fully Sick Rapper, and released them on YouTube.

Using standard software on his Apple MacBook Pro, his videos are generating huge buzz and fans from around the world. Van Vuuren says it has helped him to stay positive and, because of all the online action he's getting, he hasn't had time to think about his illness.

You can see all of Christiaan's videos here.

I saw his videos a couple weeks ago and enjoyed them. It's got to be awful feeling good and healthy but having to be quarrantine for months.
