A Croatian footballer booked for diving had actually dropped dead of a heart attack.
Goran Tunjic, a 32-year-old defender playing for the Mladost FC, collapsed in the 35th minute of the County League match against Hrvatski Sokola, prompting the referee to approach the player brandishing a yellow card.
Tragically, however, the player had suffered a fatal heart attack. The official quickly realised what had happened and called for medical aid, but Tunjic died despite being rushed to a nearby hospital.
"Doctors tried to help him but there was nothing they could do," a club spokesman said of the player, who had no previous medical problems. "He just fell dead on the spot."

This honestly scares the crap out of me. Surely they would've had paramedics on the scene almost instantly to help resuscitate him or at least get the blood moving around his body again. What else happens during a heart attack that means moving the blood around and getting fresh oxygen into the lungs isn't sufficient?
If the heart stops, the brains will not get oxigen. That stops signals from the brain area going to the lungs and so not enough oxigen comes into the blood that can not be pumped back to brains. All the oxigen that is in the blood is taken very quickly by all other parts of the body like the muscles because the man was running around like mad. And then on top of this all, because of all this running, this man had a high core temperature so he could not make use of the natural reflex of the body to go on lower oxigen use like bodies do when they get shock-freezed like when you get under the ice during skating or whatever. Cold-victims can survive similar things much longer.
This was just terribly bad luck and nobody could have helpend that man exept by divine intervention or something like that.
That is why it is so darn essential to get the whole system up and running faster then now.
