Man offered hotel staff money to watch him have sex with prostitute

A man accused of offering to pay resort employees to watch him have sex with a prostitute was arrested on an allegation he provided alcohol to a minor, by US authorities. Bond for Jeffrey Alan Petroff, 48, a registered sex offender, of Houston, was set at $5,000 on a misdemeanor charge of making alcohol available to a teenage resort waiter, who accepted Petroff’s offer and pocketed $160 cash, Galveston police Capt. Jeff Heyse said.

Police learned of the incident when a valet working at the San Luis Resort picked up a guest downtown, and on the return trip the guest repeatedly offered the valet money to watch him have sex with a prostitute. The valet refused and called police after dropping the man at the resort.

“When police arrived at the man’s room, another hotel employee was seen coming out of the room,” Heyse said. “The employee stated the guest offered him $500 to watch him have sex with a prostitute.” Police accused the man of giving the waiter a shot of tequila. The waiter told police the man gave him $160 and said he would give him the rest when he finished.

The waiter told police he saw no prostitute in the room, and the guest made him feel uncomfortable. The waiter left the room at the same time the officer approached the door. Galveston police continue to investigate the case, and other charges could be forthcoming.

Many thanks Katrina!
