Badly behaved badgers cause chaos

Mischievous badgers have been messing about in a garden in Wolverhampton. They've built a sett at the bottom of the garden and have been digging up the lawn, and even stealing washing off the line.

It's got so bad that Julie Worsley set up a hidden camera in a garden gnome to film their antics. Then the stripey creatures sabotaged the 'gnomecam' by knocking him over and stealing part of his microphone so it couldn't record them.



Julie has already lost a blue dress to the badgers, after they took it off her washing line. She had hoped the gnomecam - which was set up by the BBC in the West Midlands - would capture their night time antics.

She said: "When I got up the gnome was dead! The badgers had attacked him in the night, so there was something they didn't like about him."
