Immigration monkey business in India

Worshippers have gone ape over a monkey God temple in the Indian capital, New Delhi, because it is said to have magical powers to get visas to travel to England.

The temple - dedicated to Hindu god Hanuman - is said to be able to guarantee travel permits to any Western country simply by the power of prayer.

Successful worshippers pin copies of their passports to the God's tree altar in the middle of the temple to give thanks that their prayers have been answered.

"My friend got his visa to New Zealand within days of visiting this temple and many others have travelled to Britain, America and other places because of the power of Hanuman. "I am confident my visa to Britain will be granted," said faithful Harinder Singh Sekhon.
