In this video, filmed before the seemingly unnecessary killing, the police officers are seen stroking the dog.

I'm not even going to watch that video. It'll just make me get teary eyed. To help cheer you up after seeing that, does it help to know I found two very small (smaller than my hand), cute abandoned kittens that are sitting me as I type this? My dog keeps scooting closer and closer trying to get in a good sniff and lick and the little ones arch their backs and hiss at him. They are starting to get used to each though, slowly but surely.
Even though the dog is very docile in this video, there are claims that it was growling and acting aggressively. I'm not saying it's right that it was killed, but growling at random people on the street is a bad, bad sign.

This is Missouri, not exactly the intelligence center of the U.S. They must of misstook the dog for an illegal alien.

Both officers seemed unsure and ill trained to deal with the situation.
2 wrongs don't make a right...
