Self-buttering dogfish

The lady had skinned and gutted the fish when this happened.

An hour later they were still going.

I recoiled from my monitor when I saw the first video.

If that had happened to me, and I'd been alone in the house at the time, I would have become severely deranged.

Fish... an animal too stupid to know it's dead.

Good Lord!  That is heinous!  That will put me off fish for a while.  Wonder if they ate it?

I couldn't watch more than a few seconds.  I will certainly not be eating fish for a while, and may never cook it again.

Most animals will do that.  People just usually don't kill and tear pigs and cows apart themelves, so they don't see it.

meat is kinda cruel.

I've been attacked by various liberal wanks several times over the intertubes after telling of fish that flopped around or bit me long after being killed and cleaned. Magpie is right, most living things do this; I'm glad to finally have video to point folk who attack me toward. When this has happened to me I'm usually too covered in guts and scales to consider grabbing any electronics...

I've actually had some people think I've needed to be reported to PETA or a SPCA for simply cleaning fish for meat. If you would agree 1) Get a life 2) quit eating food you don't personally harvest - I'll look forward to viewing your "starvation blog" pics.

Oh, and people don't leave your fish on the counter for an hour just to film it! Toss it on ice for a few minutes, it'll stop the flop. You risk nasty bacteria growth leaving it out that long...
