2-year-old's penis and tongue cut off in South Africa

A 2-year-old KwaZulu-Natal boy is in a critical condition after his tongue and penis were cut off. According to the police the gruesome discovery was made in eZimangweni in eNanda late last Wednesday after the boy had gone missing while playing with his friends.

Police spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Vincent Mdunge that so far no arrests had been made and they were investigating a case of assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm. Mdunge appealed to local residents to come forward with information about the attack.

Kwazulu-Natal is the province where a policeman was accused of shooting dead four men in an argument over the size of their penises. He told the KwaZulu-Natal High Court in Durban that he fired the shots because he believed his life was in danger.

Of course the incident involving the two-year-old child might also relate to some form of muti "gathering" because other than that there can be no reasonable explanation for this conduct.
