A handyman had a lucky escape after falling 10ft headfirst into a toilet. Barry Paulton, 52, was fixing a leak in a flat above a wine shop when the floorboards gave way.
He was unconscious with his head wedged in the shop's toilet and had to be rescued by paramedics.
He was taken to hospital with bruises and a broken vertebra but Barry, from Chingford, North East London, returned to fix the leak the next day.
He said: "I don't like to inconvenience anyone."
