A toothless robber in China has been arrested after he tried to rob a Beijing bank so that he could afford a new set of teeth.
Unfortunately for 43-year-old Li Han is so well known to local police that when bank staff described his toothless appearance, they solved case in record time.
'He has a a very distinctive appearance and has trouble making himself understood when he speaks," said one officer, who added that Han now faces 15 years in jail for armed robbery.
'His lack of teeth means that his lisps all the time so nobody knows what he's saying. He had to tell the cashier what he wanted four or five times before she understood,' the officer added.
