Police are appealing to the public for information following a report of a robbery on Elm Street in Cheltenham.
At approximately 2.15am yesterday, Sunday September 5, the ambulance service alerted police to a 24-year-old local man with injuries to his leg and cuts to his face and hand.
The man reported that at around 1am he had been walking along Elm Street, off the Tewkesbury Road, when he was approached by a man who assaulted him and stole £100 from him.
The victim was taken Cheltenham General Hospital for treatment and later discharged.
