Naked man ransacks two houses

Police in Florida said a nude, drunken man trashed two houses, leaving a trail of his own blood, before passing out on a woman's sofa.

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office said Justin Barker, 21, told deputies he can't remember anything from Tuesday evening after drinking a caffeinated alcoholic beverage at his friend's house in New Port Richey. Barker's friend said he ran out of the home with no shoes at about 6:30 p.m., the sheriff's office said.



Deputies said Barker shattered a glass door at the home of a 70-year-old woman, who was not home at the time, and cut his arm on the glass. Investigators said Barker then went on a rampage inside the house, throwing off his clothes and subsequently ripping the open door off its hinges and defecating in the living room and kitchen.

Witnesses spotted Barker leaving the home while still nude. The suspect was next spotted by Vickie Bankowski, who returned home to find blood all over her house and one of her dogs missing. Barker was sleeping on her couch. Barker, of 15601 Hicks Road in Hudson, is charged with two counts of burglary of an unoccupied dwelling. He is being held at the Pasco County jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
