Private school cock-up as pupils asked to bring willies to school instead of wellies

A top private school accidentally asked pupils to bring their "willies" to school instead of wellies.

The Loreto School in Bowdon, Cheshire, which caters for four and five year-olds and charges £5,000 a year, failed to spot the spelling mistake in a letter sent to parents.



It read: "Please make sure your child brings willies to leave in school so that we can make use of our lovely grounds."

One mum said: "I couldn't believe it when I read it then I had a giggle, though I am glad my little one can't read properly yet."
