Police minister Nick Herbert was left red-faced last night after turning the air blue in the Commons chamber when he accidentally swore.
The Arundel and South Downs MP was attempting to defend Government cuts but managed to swear instead.
You may need to increase the volume. Then turn it down afterwards.
Mr Herbert’s incident happened as he answered a question about police cuts.
The chamber erupted in laughter before Speaker John Bercow intervened, telling MPs: “The Opposition’s hearing is playing tricks with them. They didn't hear what they thought.”
