Canadian man wakes to find strange drunk woman in his bed

A Victoria man recently awoke to the sound of someone entering his apartment during the night, police report.

A woman entered his bedroom, took off her clothes and slid into bed next to him. The man, however, lives alone.

Police responded to the "unwanted guest" call and found the woman asleep in the man's bed and quite drunk. They also found some of her belongings in front of an apartment in a similar location on another floor of the building.

Nobody answered the door of the woman's apartment. "With nowhere else to go," police reported, "the officers had to lodge her in cells for a few hours until she was sober enough to take care of herself."
