Homeless man with great radio voice needs a break

On many days, Ted Williams stands on the side of the road in Columbus, Ohio holding a sign that reads, "I have the God given gift of a great voice. I'm an ex-radio announcer who has fallen on hard times. Please any help will be greatly appreciated."

YouTube link.

In this video he tells how he fell in love with radio, went to school for it, fell on hard times (drugs, alcohol) but is now two years clean. Ted Williams is looking for work.

Update: Mr Williams has now been offered a full-time job and a house.

Hopefully a job comes from this. He seems like a genuinely nice/intelligent man.

According to the updates posted with the video, he's had lots of job offers since, and is "set for life." A happy ending!

I give him a lot of credit for trying to stand up on his own two feet! Wishing him best of luck -- and yeah that voice is great!
