A mother is furious after finding a tattoo on her 16-year-old daughter. Police are investigating after Renee Brady reported a South Wales tattoo parlour for branding her daughter without proof she was over 18, the legal age for a tattoo. Renee, of Fairwater, Cardiff, said she was mortified when she first found out daughter Levi-Paige had a tattoo just above her backside reading “100% Welsh lamb”.
She found out after Levi-Paige damaged her hip in a riding accident at the weekend. Her daughter came clean and said she had had it done a week earlier and claimed she had not needed to prove her age before she went under the needle. Renee said: “She regretted it straight away.
“What I’m furious about is the fact that someone has branded my daughter for life.” Giving a tattoo to anyone under the age of 18 is illegal under the 1969 Tattooing of Minors Act. Renee said the location of the tattoo was “grossly inappropriate”.
“It is shameful. People in these establishments have a duty to act responsibly rather than betraying the trust of parents,” she said. The tattoo cost £30 although the original quote was for £60. The punishment for tattooing a minor, if convicted, is a £50 fine or £100 for a repeat conviction.

It's not the tattooists job to be your parent.
Your daughter wanted the tattoo there, punish her for being 100% welsh slag.
So, TheToiletDuck, you think it's not the bartender's job to be your parent, either?
TheToiletDuck, I think you forgot about the "underage" part. Since she's 16, it's the tattoist's fault. That's illegal. If she is 18, then it's the parents' fault.
I don't really understand what the 'Welsh lamb' thing means. Is that slang for something?

What... are there no lasers in Wales?
Why did they feel the need to put a full stop at the end?
Feel ill looking at it. YUCK.
yeah im sure she regretted it...
Sounds like the girl regrets being caught. Or maybe she regrets getting such a lame tattoo. But mom....place blame where it's due. On your trampy 16 y/o daughter....
